What is a perfect comic? Thanks to CGC, it is now easy to know whether a comic is in perfect condition or not. CGC is short for Certified Guaranty Company; its service is to grade comics on a scale of 0.5 to 10, where 0.5 is poor condition and 10 is perfect, excellent condition.
So what makes for perfect CGC 10 comics? Avoid tears on pages, splitting of spines, and other signs that the comic has been read through! Comics go through a grading process, being passed from one grader to the next, to ensure impartiality.
After being assigned a grade, it is also assigned a unique verifiable number, and sealed inside a transparent capsule. Soon after, you can watch as the price of this comic escalates.

Though not all comics are priced as much, be prepared to shell out some cash, as these comics are well-taken care of, and are believed to be good investments—soon enough, the price you paid for it will double.
