One of the most expensive Batman CGC Comics that exists is Batman’s first appearance in Detective Comics #27.  This was the first time the world was introduced to the caped crusader and before Batman received is own comic book.  This is the second most most expensive comic ever created.  This rare comic book is almost impossible to find in fair condition due to the fact that it was produced in 1939.  A Batman CGC Comic in decent condition or fair condition sells for almost $40,000.  A Very Fine Batman CGC Graded Comic Book sold for $225,000.  That’s right almost a quarter of a million dollars.  Some people might say why would someone pay so much money for a comic book?  It really comes down to supply and demand.  If you own the only copy of something in the world and there are a lot of rich people that would like to own that one unique book than what is it really worth?  The sky is the limit.  Baseball cards have sold for over a million dollars.  It really comes down to condition and scarcity.
