Someone who is totally different from other superheroes, Spiderman, a teenage crime-fighting hero have been embedded in the hearts of many people, especially teenagers who have related much on his life as an adolescent. He does not have superpowers that generated from a piece of kryptonite, nor does he have an ability to fly high outside the outer space. All he has is his webs and a mind that has an ability to think carefully and quick when emergency situation calls for it.

Spiderman is in fact a fictional superhero. His first appearance in 1962 in his self-titled Spiderman comics has become an instant hit. People from different parts of the globe have been avid followers of the comic series that pave way for this story bound character to come alive in everyone’s hearts and imagination. His story as a normal person has been an inspiration to many, and his other self as a superhero has been idolized by many.

Stories that were created in every series of Spiderman comics were jam-packed with exhilarating actions. The scenes were amusedly drawn, and the storyline simply puts the characters into life. These are the reasons why these comic books by Marvel instantly gain popularity and become one of the greatest to be published.

But the fame did not only end there. Readers wanted to see more actions on their television sets, and even on the big silver screen. These very reasons gave way for producers to put the stories found at every series of Spiderman comics in television series and in the movies. And just like the old comic book, people flocked the movie houses to watch the Spiderman movies, and became passionate followers of the animated television series.

At present, the images of the teenage superhero have been printed on posters, kid’s merchandise and school supplies, as well as were made into action figures. It is indeed amazing to note that a superhero that once a comic book idol is now alive and kicking in the hearts of many people.
